FO: Late Hours Shawl

This shawl was quick and easy to knit. The pattern is written in such a way that it's adaptable to multiple yarn weights and three sizes. I knit the medium shawl in DK weight yarn (frogged from this, which I never wore because the fit was bad).



I will definitely make this again. The pattern is easy to memorize and I love the result!

FO: Boy's Polo

Needle: US 4 (US 3 for button band)

Another test-knit. Super quick and fun little sweater. I think this pattern will make a great palate for lots of different designs. I made the 18mo size as a 1st birthday gift and it seems to fit well, while still leaving a bit of room for growth.

 

FO: Golden Ratio Blanket

Yarn: Cascade 128 superwash
Needle: US11

This was knit as a test. The blanket is stroller size. I plan on sending it to a cousin who is about to have a baby girl. I had some issues with the i-cord edging--I guess I need more practice with this because I'm not very pleased with how it looks on this project.

This yarn is great--so soft!! It was a bit odd to work with size 11 needles. My hands are much more used to little sock needles. :)

FO: Gespeg Hat

Needle: US 8

I knit this hat as a test-knit--my very first test-knit experience! I've admired Ariane's designs for a bit, and so I jumped at the opportunity to test knit her newest hat.



The yarn is from the stash, leftover from this little sweater. Yea for using stash yarn.

I put a bunch of notes up on Ravelry about this project, but to summarize: Great pattern; love the crown shaping; a bit too slouchy for my taste.
